First time i’ve touched floorball stick in 1992 or 1993. It was by Isojoen Church - they’ve had some group for young teenager. But this group we didn’t speak about god and so. We were together, made pizza or some other food, playd games and so. Just activities so teenagers don’t start drink alcohol too young. Okey i was also there, sometimes we play there floorball, without rules.. It’s called finnish language “sähly”, we play there that. I playd there with boys, girls were not so interesting about that.

Later same year, we had some tournament for young girls who was same age what i was. We just get to team of our village, about 4-5 players. This tournament was 3 against 3. Our team played there quite good, if u think that i was near only one who played ever before.

One year later there was some bigger tournament, but we haven’t made any girls team, and i went to play with boys. We won this tournament and i’ve played just ok. But floorball fly beat me and after i go buy my first own stick, it was canadien 3000 and it was almost more heavy than ice hockey stick. Then one good friend helped to me to make blade so it i can shoot better, that boy was Juho Kerttula.

Couple months later, i wanted to buy really stick.. Not so heavy and not so thick like last one. I bought Exel Oval. This was SUPER stick, huhhuh. This same boy, Juho made again my blade. Training with good stuff, my technik and shooting get big step to up, really big.

Then later i get first touch to floorball (sähly) in my school. Sometimes we playd in school also, but there was really nice teacher Kauko Kuoppala. He was boys sport teacher in school and he is the leader of one sport group, which was every thursday and we play there near always floorball (sähly). I was only girl in whole group and there were two years older people than me. It mean i was there almost youngest. Okey, first boys dont like me there, girls play with boys… attitude problems… But without Kauko Kuoppala, i over this quite fast. But he always said that i am welcomed there, boys can say whatever they want. And i go there, i learn fast and soon boys really accept me there, because i wasn’t so bad anymore. Three years i played in this group and there i learned MUCH.

Later i’ve moved to study in Seinäjoki, only because that i thought that my future is football and Seinäjoki had good football club. I start looking for floorball teams, if i can go play sähly there. I called with one my school teacher together, first SPV.. no answer… St Charros answer… We’ve dealt that i can come for training there, but they had so good team, that i couldnt play there. I’ve said that it’s not important to me, because i want only “training”. I go first training and after training team coach ask if i am going to play in this team. Of course i answered yes, and then football stayd out of my life… Good decision… :)

This team played second division and coach was Timo Viita. I found out there that this team is not for me, there was nice persons but still team is not for me.

Next season SPV´s coach Tuomo Kangasluoma called me and asked if i would be intresting to play in SPV. Why not - because St Charros was not good place to me. I only dont feel so. Then my road went to SPV…

Then start my first whole season and team was SPV. We play NLC division also, same group where my old team Charros also played. This season i growed really much and get many many good tips how to play floorball and handle my life also. THANKS TUOMO AND JOHANNA KANGASLUOMAN. Our season went really good and we made it up to first division…

Next year I start in SPV playing NLB. We played good and i got again one step up my skills, thanks to good coach. After season we went up again to NLA…

Two years in league results were 4th and 3rd place. Not so bad for new team. I growed and was better and better. After this last SPV season our team went broken, many good players overed their career or went somewhere else. It ment for me, that i wanted to also go somewhere… I moved to Helsinki.

First year in Helsinki I played in Pelipeikot team. Team was good and young. Coach was really good, shame it we didn’t win anything with this team but problem was not coach, no no, only players were too much young..

After this i was near to move to Tampere, because Helsinki to Isojoki distance is almost 400km.. And sometimes i felt bad: village girl in big city…

Reason why i stayed in Helsinki were my friends…

Next two years, i played in Sb Vantaa.. There i learned much, how to work in summer on myself and so… There we made hard summer training and i get more and more physical skills up and get my head more strong.. THANKS TO HANNU TUUNAINEN and MARKO PIIROINEN, without this two man… I would never have chance to go to Tiikerit…

Next two years i played in Tikkurilan Tiikerit… SUPER TEAM, SUPER COACH… WE WERE BEST TEAM IN WHOLE WORLD, but one shit game in European Cup final stealed us our gold… This two years i’ve made most of my friends, many were same friends with who i played in Pelipeikot and so… There i growed really really much.. First year Tiikerit was BEST season in my life and not only because of results..

After i went to Switzerland to Riders, here i am and I am happy in here… Two season Riders was very wonderful time, but i am not young anymore and i feel so if i want win league next season i have to change team..

So i do.. I feel it Red Ants is best team to me. Dietlikon of course is really good next season but Red Ants we go and challenge Dietlikon and if somebody knows how we training, i promise it then they know it we really WANT that… WIN THE LEAGUE… I want that also!!!
